Extrema is founded in 1992, which means that we have almost 2 decades of expierence in organising international indoor/outdoor festivals and club events. It all started when 2 friends were effected by the mellow dance stream. They began organizing parties in the south of Holland, with the goal of the awareness of full individuality and ultimate freedom therefore the seahorse logo stands for Love & Respect.
In all the events Extrema is well known for its intense festival experience, beautiful decoration, theatrical perfomances and fantastic artist. Anno 2010 the Extrema Outdoor festival and Solar Weekend Festival are the main two concepts.
In 1996 was the first Extrema Outdoor festival with 1500 entrants sold. In 2009 more than 50.000 participants. Famous for its laid-back atmosphere and international appeal on a beautifull recreation area near Eindhoven.
The Solar Weekend Festival is a 3-day unique holiday experience with a broad palet of music and piles of creativity and has an own beach campsite. This year the 6th edition will expecting 22.000 pariticipants.
Besides the events, the Extrema Network is growingwith is own ticketing system, artist and music management, production and catering company. And now it is spreading its wings international to Norway and next year Belgium.
