Flamingo Recordings & Flamingo Nights
Fedde Le Grand teamed up with Funkerman and Raf Jansen and they have started Flamingo Recordings since 2004. This unconventional record label has created an independent platform for artists where they can release their tracks without any compromises. This label has made them able to release tracks as fresh as they can be, appealing to a large group of people, without losing its underground identity. “Taking no Shhh from any A&R”, according to the lads themselves. In a short period of time, Flamingo Recordings has established itself in the international label scene with releases licensed to partners such as Defected, Ministry of Sound and CR2 Records.
Their own party concept ‘Flamingo Nights’ launched successfully at the Amsterdam Dance Event in 2007. This party is characterized by a clear build up; a warming up by upcoming talent, followed by high-principled international live acts, to end with quality house music until the small hours of the night. All of this is accompanied by their own MC and creative VJ visuals. This party concept has international ambitions. In the future, Flamingo Nights editions will be held in Germany, The United States, The United Kingdom, France and Ibiza.
